Jordan Connolly is a big brain in a young person’s body… this is his first graduate position and has settled in very well. We took 5 minutes with Jordan to find out more about him and his IT journey thus far.
How did you get into the IT industry?
After I completed my Pharmacology BSc at Newcastle University, I chose to study Bioinformatics, which bridges statistics and programming to solve biological problems. I was particularly interested in data analytics and machine learning algorithms, completing a thesis using machine learning to understand the cognitive effects of an antidepressant drug. To gain experience in the industry I opted for Business Intelligence at Perfect Image.
What is your favourite thing about working at Perfect Image?
Free fruit and a great tech stack.

Everybody is good at their jobs and really cares about providing the best solution to clients.

My phone and the ability to access social media and the internet almost anywhere.
What do you think technology will look like in ten year’s time?
Almost the same as today, except more automated.

What do you get up to when you’re not at work?
I like to play electric guitar, go to the gym and play first-person shooter games.
