Accessibility

To increase text size:

Internet Explorer

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’. If no menu is showing press the ‘Alt’ key.
• Select ‘Text Size’ or press ‘X’.
• Select the desired size.

Firefox

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’. If no menu is showing press the ‘Alt’ key.
• Select ‘Zoom’ or press ‘Z’.
• Select ‘Zoom Text Only’ or press ‘T’. Skip this step if ‘Zoom Text Only’ is already selected.
• Repeat the first two steps above, then select ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ as required.

Chrome

• Click on the spanner icon in the top right corner.
• Select ‘Options’.
• Select ‘Under the Bonnet’ from the left hand menu.
• Find the ‘Web Content’ section.
• Select your preferred ‘Font Size’.

Safari

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively you can press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’.
• Select ‘Zoom Text Only’ or press ‘T’. Skip this step if ‘Zoom Text Only’ is already selected.
• Repeat the first step above, then select ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ as required.

Opera

• Click ‘Tools’ or press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’. If no menu bar is showing, Click the ‘Opera Button’ in the top left and select ‘Show Menu Bar’.
• Select ‘Preferences’ from the list, or press ‘F’.
• Click on the ‘Advanced’ tab.
• Select Fonts from the left menu.
• Change the ‘Minimum font size (pixels)’.

Page Zoom

Internet Explorer

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively you can press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’. If no menu is showing press the ‘Alt’ key.
• Select ‘Zoom’ or press ‘Z’.
• Choose a Zoom value from the list.

Firefox

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively you can press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’. If no menu is showing press the ‘Alt’ key.
• Select ‘Zoom’ or press ‘Z’.
• If ‘Zoom Text Only’ is already selected, deselect ‘Zoom Text Only’ or press ‘T’. If ‘Zoom Text Only’ is not selected proceed to the next step.
• Repeat the first two steps above, then select ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ as required.

Safari:

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively you can press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’.
• If ‘Zoom Text Only’ is already selected, deselect ‘Zoom Text Only’ or press ‘T’. If ‘Zoom Text Only’ is not selected proceed to the next step.
• Click ‘View’ again, then select ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ as required.

Opera

• Click ‘View’ to open the View menu. Alternatively you can press ‘Alt’ and ‘V’.
• Select ‘Zoom’ or press ‘Z’.
• Select your preferred ‘Page Zoom’ value.

There are two alternative methods for changing page zoom.

1. Press Ctrl (or Command on a mac) and + to zoom into the page, and Ctrl (Command on mac) and – (minus) to zoom out of the page. Ctrl and 0 returns the page size to 100%.
2. You can also scroll with the wheel of your mouse whilst holding down the control key.
