At Perfect Image we take great pride in our people and our processes. It is our approach to projects and best practice processes that allow us to reliably deliver great solutions to our clients. Our Bluewave methodology has evolved over the years and will continue to do so.
Bluewave provides us with a consistent approach to managing projects and draws on best practice standards such as RUP (the Rational Unified Process) and PRINCE. At the root of Bluewave is the desire to deliver solutions that improve our customers’ organisations. This means ensuring that business as well as technology objectives are understood and met. Our Bluewave methodology is designed to prevent the common mistakes that we have seen occur in IT projects such as:
- Scope creep.
- Lack of a common understanding of requirements.
- Failure to align project with organisational objectives.
- Absence of or lack of clarity on individual responsibility.
- Over-engineered solutions.
- Under-engineered solutions.
- Weak project management (it’s not about just ‘keeping score’).
- Lack of supplier/delivery flexibility when needed.
- Failure to identify risks, both technical and commercial, or ignoring them.
Each project we undertake is unique, presenting its own individual challenges and risks, so our Bluewave methodology is agile enough to deal with a wide range of project types and sizes. Our enviable track record and ability to deliver complex solutions, often involving multiple delivery partners, is a testament to our approach.
Each of our projects consists of four distinct phases:
- Inception
- Elaboration
- Construction
- Transition
