FIReControl

FIReControl is a UK based project that was initiated in March 2004, to reduce the number of control rooms used to handle emergency calls for fire services and authorities.  As a result the 46 current control rooms will be combined into 9 Regional Control Centres (RCCs) by November 2012.

A secure electronic data exchange facility between appropriate FRS systems and the RCC will be required to allow data to be transferred in real-time.  Microsoft BizTalk Server can help support this data exchange for the following areas:

• Hydrant and Emergency Water Supply details
