Perfect Image works with clients to define, implement and support IT systems which will help to make them more successful. Our range of offerings cover bespoke web and Windows-based systems, the integration of existing and new systems, intranet, CRM, Business Intelligence and accounting systems.
The role of the IT Consultant is pivotal to the success of our clients’ projects and therefore to Perfect Image. The IT Consultant is involved in sales activity, which includes the initial consultation with the client and the creation of proposals, the definition of systems requirements, the management of the resultant project and the support of clients through the change process. Although not mandatory, our IT Consultants also typically have technical skills in at least one of the following areas; Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Windows SharePoint Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint, internet solutions (CMS/ecommerce), Microsoft PerformancePoint, and QlikView.
The role of the IT Consultant is therefore varied as it involves sales and delivery across a range of clients and technologies. This calls for a wide range of skills, but above all, a focus on client service, a “can do” attitude and a hunger to learn.
- Initial consultation with clients about their requirements.
- Creation and communication of sales proposals.
- Definition and maintenance of systems requirements in the form of Use Cases, User Stories, wireframes, sitemaps and other artefacts.
- Project planning and project management.

- £25,000 to £45,000 dependent on skills and experience.

- A good level of IT knowledge and an ability to express this knowledge in terms appropriate to the audience which includes client senior executives, managers and end-users.
- Experience in helping clients to formulate and articulate their business requirements and in translating these into systems requirements.
- Experience in managing systems implementation projects across a number of technologies and business sectors, preferably using “agile” methodologies.
- Ability to think clearly, and to write clear documentation which is sufficiently detailed, unambiguous and complete.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Although not mandatory requirements, any one or more of the following attributes would be desirable:
- Experience in writing sales proposals.
- A background as a software developer.
- Expertise in implementing one or more of Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Windows SharePoint Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint, internet solutions (CMS/ecommerce), Microsoft PerformancePoint, and QlikView.
- Education to degree level (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years IT experience.
- Strong skills in spoken and written English.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Strong degree of self-motivation.
- Attention to detail.
- Good entrepreneurial skills.
- Proven ability to deliver results.
- Excellent communication & listening skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
