Perfect Image is a leading IT service provider looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who has the ability, self motivation and enthusiasm to deliver. This is a new and exciting role within Perfect Image and you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your role in the company.
As a self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude you will be targeted to proactively identify and generate new business opportunities. We are looking for a highly charismatic individual to promote the company’s image in the marketplace and to initiate and build direct contacts at all levels within organisations.
This role is not a commissioned sales role nor does it involve closing opportunities. The purpose of this role is to make contact with prospects, recognise opportunities, be able to describe and evangelise Perfect Image’s services and discuss how these services would be applied in business as well as the associated benefits. Once interest has been gained the Business Development Manager will hand over the prospect to a consultancy.
- Optimise business growth through identifying new markets and business opportunities
- Have a good understanding of a prospect’s business functions and requirements
- Maintain and develop existing customer business through appropriate prospecting and business development methods
- Ability to communicate complex solutions in an appropriate manner to both business and IT professionals
- Advocate the company and its services
- Attend and present at client meetings to aid business development
- Partnership management with Microsoft
- Ability to contribute and write proposals and tenders
- Attend relevant seminars and networking events to develop business relationships
- Manage personal time and productivity

- £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on skills and experience
- Car allowance of £4,500 per annum

- A proven track record in developing exceptional relationships within a business to business environment with specific emphasis on IT solutions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Proven ability in engaging at a senior level with both customers and prospects
- A broad understanding and interest in IT solutions ranging from ERP and CRM solutions and how these are applied to business requirements to knowledge of the internet, intranet and e-commerce solutions
- An appreciation for database and reporting tools and a good understanding of Microsoft products including BizTalk, SharePoint, Exchange, Windows etc
- Sound understanding of the process of delivering IT solutions
- High level business/IT contacts
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years professional, commercial experience in a business to business environment. You must possess a full, clean UK driving license and it is important that the successful candidate possesses very strong skills in spoken and written English.
